Located in Minster, Kent, this 732-year-old chapel surrounded by 35 acres is less than a mile from the picturesque East Kent Coast and yet from May 2023 only over an hour from London on the Highspeed Train.

Surrounded by 35 acres of rustic wildness and considered landscaping, the centuries-old estate provides a unique backdrop for relaxing, entertaining, and celebrating in the most private of country settings.
Built-in 1290, over seven hundred years old, Chapel House resides at the heart of the Estate. A boutique, supremely comfortable converted chapel with a timeless appeal that no one wants to leave, the house provides a restful retreat on the night of your wedding or event. All five bedrooms with an interior designed and considered for luxury and comfort, effortlessly capturing the inherent charm and character of the historic house and its stunning gardens.

Within the sprawling paddocks, in addition to the Chapel House (sleeps 10), there is a Beauty & Massage Lodge plus nine Hideaway Lodges (sleeps 18 plus children) and on the edge of the Estate, Chapel Cottage (sleeps 6). The onsite accommodation (sleeps 34 in total) combines contemporary design and understated luxury perfect for you and your guests.
The Chapel House Estate also boasts a rustic converted barn, the Old Malt Granary, for gorgeous indoor ceremonies any time of the year, and a state-of-the-art purpose-built large Banqueting Barn (Thorne Barn).
With panoramic views, beautiful formal gardens, a wild apple orchard for outdoor ceremonies and blessings, a secluded walled courtyard with lounge bar and private chefs table in No 9 Restaurant Chapel House hosts an unforgettable destination experience.
With all the facilities on the Chapel House Estate you can book an exclusive small intimate wedding in the Walled Courtyard, an exclusive large wedding, blessing or celebration, a Twilight wedding and we offer late availability weddings.
